Refund Policy

Overview

Simple Functional AI ("SFAI") wants every subscriber to feel confident in their decision to use our platform. This Refund Policy explains when and how refunds are available.


Monthly Subscription Fee ($399/month)

Within the first 14 days of your initial subscription: You may request a full refund of your first month's subscription fee, no questions asked. Contact us at support@simplefunctionalai.com within 14 days of your signup date.

After 14 days: Monthly subscription fees are non-refundable. When you cancel, your access continues through the end of your current billing period. No further charges will be applied after cancellation takes effect.

Renewal charges: We do not provide refunds for automatic renewal charges. To avoid being charged for the next period, cancel your subscription before your renewal date. Your renewal date is visible in your account settings under Billing.


One-Time Setup Fee ($550)

Before account provisioning: If you cancel before your account has been provisioned and onboarding has begun, the setup fee will be refunded in full.

After account provisioning: Once your account has been created and onboarding has started, the setup fee is non-refundable. This fee covers the time and resources involved in provisioning your isolated clinic environment, configuring your communication channels, and preparing your account for use.


Beta Program Pricing

If you are enrolled in the SFAI beta program with promotional pricing, the same refund terms apply to your discounted rate. Beta pricing terms, including any special conditions, are communicated in writing at the time of enrollment.


How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email support@simplefunctionalai.com with:

  • Your name and the email address associated with your account
  • The reason for your refund request
  • The date of the charge you are requesting a refund for

We aim to process all refund requests within 5 business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method and may take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or card issuer.


Data After Cancellation

When you cancel your subscription (with or without a refund):

  • Your access continues through the end of your current billing period.
  • Your data is retained for 90 days after your subscription ends, giving you time to export your information or reactivate your account.
  • After 90 days, your data is permanently deleted.

Disputes

If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us at support@simplefunctionalai.com before initiating a dispute with your bank or credit card company. We are committed to resolving billing issues quickly and fairly.


Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active subscribers with at least 30 days' notice. The current version is always available at simplefunctionalai.com/refund-policy.
